30 joint personnel cleaned Jalan Pisangan Lama Barat, Pisangan Timur, Pulogadung, East Jakarta by spraying it with water, Thursday (11/22) late afternoon.

We spray the road to clean red soil from the road surface to avoid traffic accident

This road which is connecting Jalan Ahmad Yani and Jalan Pisangan Lama Raya was covered by red soil from ex-excavation carried by rain water.

Personnel cleaned the road by spraying it using fire truck with 4,000 liters capacity. This cleaning involved East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. and PPSU personnel.

East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept.'s Fire Control and Rescue Section Head, Gatot Sulaeman stated, personnel were deployed to clean up remaining red soil on the road carried by rain water.

"We spray the road to clean red soil from the road surface to avoid traffic accident. It is very dangerous since it makes the road slippery," he explained.
